What are your Rumblr editors reading this week? Well…

Molly: I read The Goldfinch last week and I’m sorry to say I didn’t love it. I wanted to. Now I’ve just started reading White Is for Witching and am so excited for it, per Claire’s great live blogging.

ClaireI just finished Sharp Objects (am I the last person in the world to read anything by Gillian Flynn?) and it’s just as scary and compelling as everyone says. Now I’m reading Helen Oyeyemi’s The Icarus Girland it’s so wonderful so far; I’m completely captivated by the eight year old narrator. I can’t even quite deal with how brilliant Helen Oyeyemi is. She wrote this when she was still a teenager!!

JenI have had a sinus infection all week. I’ve been collapsing on the couch after work every night  and slowly navigating Chris Ware’s Building Stories. It’s beautiful and sad and not sad. It makes me feel nostalgic for my first apartment in a crazy, run down building which I lived in for 7 years. It also makes me feel overwhelmed by all of the humans and feelings in the world.
